جب گلستاں کوخوں کی
ضرورت پڑی
سب سے پہلے ہی گردن
ہماری کٹی
پھر بھی کہتے ہیں
مجھ سے یہ اہلِ چمن،
یہ چمن ہے ہمارا
تمہارا نہیں
آج ملک بھر میں
76/واں یومِ آزادی independence day منایاجارہا ہے۔ ہم سب اِس سے واقف ہیں کہ کس طرح
ہندوستان انگریزوں کے ظلم و ستم، جابرانہ پالیسیوں اور غلامی کی زنجیروں سے ۱۵/اگست
1947ء کو آزاد ہوا۔ آزادی کے متوالوں نے بلند حوصلوں کے
ساتھ کیسی کیسی قربانیاں پیش کیں۔ مجاہدینِ آزادی کی سخت جدوجہد کے بعد ہمیں آزادی
جیسی نعمتِ عظمیٰ حاصل ہوئی_
دوستوں! لیکن حقیقت
یہ ہے کہ ہندوستان آج بھی صحیح معنوں میں آزادی کا منتظر ہے۔ آج حالات یہ ہیں کہ
ملک میں غریب، مزدور، خواتین، دلِت اور مسلمان محفوظ نہیں ہیں آئے دن ان پر ظلم و
ستم کے پہاڑ توڑے جا رہے ہیں۔کہیں تو دلتوں کو اچھوت سمجھ کر پیٹا جا رہا ہے کہیں
مسلمانوں کو گائے کے نام پر مارا جا رہا ہے گویاانسان کی جان سے زیادہ اہمیت جانور
کی ہوگئی ہے۔
آج ہم آزادی کے بعد
76/سال کا سفر طے کر چکے ہیں لیکن آج اِس ملک کی تاریخ کو مسخ کیا جارہا ہے
مسلمانوں کے اثار کو مٹایا جا رہا ہے اور آزادی کے حقیقی ثمرات سے ہندوستانی عوام
محروم دکھائی دے رہی ہے_
جدوجہد آزادی کے معماروں
نے ہندوستان کو جس راہ پر گامزن کرنے کا خواب دیکھا تھا، اُس راہ سے ہندوستان نے
خود کو الگ کر لیا ہے اور اب عالمی طاقتوں کا آلہ کار بنتا جا رہا ہے۔ ایسے میں یہ
سوال اب بھی تشنہ جواب ہے کہ کیا واقعی آزاد ملک کا خواب پورا ہوا ہے؟ آزاد
ہندوستان کا خواب اُسی وقت پورا ہوگا جب پورا ہندوستان ترقی کرے گا۔ پسماندہ افراد
کو ترقی کے عمل میں شامل کیا جائے گا۔دبے کچلے مجروح اور پچھڑے ہوئے لوگوں کو ‘مین
اِسٹریم’ میں لایا جائے گا۔ ہم اکثر اپنے ماضی کی حصولیابیوں پر اِنتہائی مسرت کا
اظہار کرتے ہیں، لیکن اُن کامیابیوں پر مطمئن ہوجانا غلط ہوگا۔
دوستوں! آزادی کا
مطلب ہر شخص کوکھلی فضا میں سانس لینے کا حق ہے۔ہر ایک کو اپنے اپنے مذہب و ملت پر
چلنے کا کلی اختیار، آزادی ایک بیش بہا نعمت، قدرت کا بیحد انمول تحفہ اور زندگی
جینے کا اصل احساس ہے۔ اِس کے برعکس غلامی و عبودیت ایک فطری برائی، کربناک اذیت
اور خوفناک زنجیر ہے۔ اِس بات سے کسی کو انکار نہیں کہ جس طرح معاشرے میں شخصی
آزادی نہایت اہم ہے اُس سے کہیں زیادہ اجتماعی آزادی کی اہمیت و ضرورت ہے۔ یا
یوں کہئے کہ آزادی ایک عظیم نعمت ہے، اِس سے بڑھ کر دنیا میں کوئی چیز نہیں اور اِس
کی حفاظت ہماری اجتماعی اور قومی ذمہ داری ہے۔
جشن آزادی کی تقریب
میں شریک ہم وطن ساتھیوں!
یومِ آزادی ایک خاص
اہمیت کا حامل اور حب الوطنی کے جذبہ سے بھرپور ایک خاص دن ہے۔ برطانوی تسلط سے
آزادی ہندوستان کی عوام نے طویل جدوجہد کے بعد حاصل کی تھی۔ پندرہ اگست ملک کے
یومِ آزادی کے طور پر ہی نہیں بلکہ اِسی اجتماعی جذبے کو یاد کرنے کیلئے منایا
جاتا ہے۔ ہندوستان کے سَوا سَو کروڑ عوام کو سوچنا چاہئے کہ جشنِ آزادی محض ایک
رسم کا نام نہیں ہے بلکہ آزادی کے بعد سے اب تک ہم نے کیا کھویا اور کیا پایا،
اپنی قومی پیش رفت، ترقی و بہبود کی رفتار، آزادی کے ممکنہ ثمرات اور فرقہ وارانہ
ہم آہنگی اور ملک کی سالمیت کی بقاء کے سلسلے میں اپنی کاوشوں کے محاسبہ کا نام
ہے۔ یومِ آزادی دراصل خود احتسابی کا دِن ہے۔ آج ہم یہ عہد کریں کہ جس طرح ہم سب
نے مِل کر ملک کی آزادی حاصل کی ہے اُسی حوصلہ و جذبہ سے
دوستوں!
پچھتر سالہ طویل عرصہ کے گزر جانے کے بعد ہندوستان دنیا کی سب سے کامیاب جمہوریتوں میں سے ایک ہے اور اب وہ آزادی کے سفر سے ایک ترقی یافتہ ملک بننے کے نصب العین کی طرف بڑھ رہا ہے۔ لیکن منزل کے حصول میں اِسے غربت، بے روزگاری اور ایسے ہی کئی اہم مسائل سے آزادی حاصل کرنا ابھی باقی ہے۔ مذہب کے نام پر منافرت، فرقہ وارانہ تشدد عام ہے۔ آج ملک بھر میں نفرت، ہجومی تشدد، فرقہ پرستی کے واقعات دیکھنے کو مِل رہے ہیں۔ اقلیتی طبقہ کو ہر لحاظ سے تکلیف پہنچائی جا رہی ہے۔ مسلمانوں کی حب الوطنی کو مشکوک نگاہوں سے دیکھا جا رہا ہے۔ خوف و ہراس کے ماحول میں بے قصوروں کی جانوں کا اتلاف ہو رہا ہے۔ اِن ساری باتوں کو ذہن میں رکھ کر سوچیں تو ایسا محسوس ہوتا ہے کہ موجودہ حالات کے پیشِ نظر یہ کہنا غلط نہ ہوگا کہ ہندوستان آج بھی آزادی کا منتظر ہے…
چل کر فرنگیوں کی پالیسی پر قدم بہ قدم
ظالم کرنا چاہتے ہیں اِک نئ تاریخ رقم
اب بھی جاری ہے وطن میں ظلم و ستم
جشنِ آزادی منائیں تو، کیسے مَنائیں ہم
اور علامہ اقبال نے کیا خوب کہا ہے
وطن کی فکر کرناداں مصیبت آنے والی ہے
تیرے بربادیوں کے مشورے ہیں اسمانوں میں
نہ سمجھو گے تو مٹ جاؤ گے اے ہندوستاں والو
تمہاری داستان تک نہ ہوگی داستانوں میں۔

Today, the 76th Independence Day is being celebrated across the country. We are all aware of how India got its freedom from British oppression, oppressive policies and chains of slavery on 15/August 1947. What kind of sacrifices were made by the freedom fighters with high morale. After the hard struggle of freedom fighters, we got the great blessing of freedom.
Friends! But the fact is that India is still waiting for freedom in the true sense. Today the situation is that the poor, laborers, women, Dalits and Muslims are not safe in the country. Day by day, mountains of oppression and oppression are being broken on them. In some places Dalits are being beaten as untouchables, in some places Muslims are being called cows. But it is being killed as if the animal has become more important than human life.
Today we have completed a journey of 76/years after independence, but today the history of this country is being distorted, the monuments of Muslims are being erased and the Indian people are deprived of the real fruits of freedom.
India has distanced itself from the path that the architects of the freedom struggle dreamed of taking India on and is now becoming a tool of world powers. In such a situation, this question is still hungry for an answer, whether the dream of an independent country has really been fulfilled? The dream of independent India will be fulfilled only when the whole of India develops. The marginalized people will be included in the process of development. The downtrodden, injured and backward people will be brought into the 'main stream'. We are often very happy about our past achievements, but it would be wrong to be complacent about those achievements.
Friends! Freedom means the right of every person to breathe in the open air. Everyone has the right to follow his own religion and nation. On the contrary, slavery is a natural evil, a cruel torture and a terrible chain. No one denies that just as individual freedom is very important in society, collective freedom is much more important and needed. In other words, freedom is a great blessing, there is nothing greater than it in the world and its protection is our collective and national responsibility.
Compatriots participating in the celebration of independence!
Independence Day is a special day of great significance and full of patriotic spirit. The people of India got their freedom from the British rule after a long struggle. 15th August is celebrated not only as the Independence Day of the country but also to remember this collective spirit. The 150 million people of India should think that the celebration of independence is not just the name of a ritual, but what we have lost and gained since independence, our national progress, the pace of development and prosperity, the possible fruits of independence and It is the name of accountability for its efforts in maintaining communal harmony and integrity of the country. Independence Day is actually a day of self accountability. Let us take a pledge today that we will make India a great country with the same spirit and enthusiasm as we all got the freedom of the country together.

After a long period of seventy-five years, India is one of the most successful democracies in the world and is now moving towards the goal of becoming a developed nation from the journey of independence. But in achieving the goal, it is yet to get freedom from poverty, unemployment and many such important problems. Hatred, sectarian violence in the name of religion is common. Today, incidents of hatred, mob violence, sectarianism are seen across the country. The minority community is being hurt in every way. The patriotism of Muslims is being viewed with suspicion. Innocent lives are being lost in the atmosphere of fear. Keeping all these things in mind, it seems that in view of the current situation, it would not be wrong to say that India is still waiting for freedom...

आज देशभर में 76वां स्वतंत्रता दिवस मनाया जा रहा है। 15/अगस्त 1947 को भारत कैसे अंग्रेजों के जुल्म, दमनकारी नीतियों और गुलामी की जंजीरों से आजाद हुआ था, इस बात से हम सभी वाकिफ हैं। किस तरह के साहस के साथ बलिदान दिए गए। स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों के कठिन संघर्ष से हमें आजादी का महान आशीर्वाद मिला।
मित्रों! लेकिन सच तो यह है कि भारत आज भी सही मायनों में आजादी का इंतजार कर रहा है। आज स्थिति यह है कि देश में गरीब, मजदूर, महिलाएं, दलित और मुस्लिम सुरक्षित नहीं हैं। कुछ जगहों पर तो दलितों को पीटा भी जा रहा है। अछूतों को, कुछ स्थानों पर मुसलमानों को गाय के नाम पर मारा जा रहा है, मानो जानवर इंसानों की जान से ज्यादा महत्वपूर्ण हो गए हों।
आज हम आजादी के बाद 76/वर्षों का सफर पूरा कर चुके हैं, लेकिन आज इस देश के इतिहास को विकृत किया जा रहा है, मुसलमानों के स्मारकों को मिटाया जा रहा है और भारतीय लोग आजादी के वास्तविक फल से वंचित हैं।
स्वतंत्रता संग्राम के निर्माताओं ने भारत को जिस रास्ते पर ले जाने का सपना देखा था, उससे भारत ने खुद को अलग कर लिया है और अब वह विश्व शक्तियों का औजार बनता जा रहा है। क्या सच में आजाद देश का सपना सच हो गया है? आजाद भारत का सपना तभी पूरा होगा जब संपूर्ण भारत का विकास होगा। विकास की प्रक्रिया में पिछड़े हुए लोगों को भी शामिल किया जाएगा। हम अक्सर अपनी पिछली उपलब्धियों को लेकर बहुत खुश होते हैं, लेकिन उन उपलब्धियों को लेकर संतुष्ट हो जाना गलत होगा।
मित्रो! स्वतंत्रता का अर्थ है प्रत्येक व्यक्ति को खुली हवा में सांस लेने का अधिकार। प्रत्येक व्यक्ति को अपने धर्म और राष्ट्र का पालन करने का अधिकार है। इसके विपरीत गुलामी और दासता एक प्राकृतिक बुराई, दर्दनाक यातना और एक भयानक श्रृंखला है। कोई भी ऐसा नहीं कर सकता इस बात से इनकार करें कि जिस प्रकार समाज में व्यक्तिगत स्वतंत्रता का बहुत महत्व है, सामूहिक स्वतंत्रता का महत्व और आवश्यकता उससे कहीं अधिक है। सामूहिक एवं राष्ट्रीय जिम्मेदारी।
आज़ादी के जश्न में शामिल देशवासी!
स्वतंत्रता दिवस एक विशेष महत्व वाला और देशभक्ति की भावना से भरपूर दिन है। भारत के लोगों को लंबे संघर्ष के बाद ब्रिटिश शासन से आजादी मिली। 15 अगस्त न केवल देश की आजादी का दिन है, बल्कि इस सामूहिक भावना का भी दिन है। याद करने के लिए मनाया जाता है। भारत के 100 करोड़ लोगों को सोचना चाहिए कि स्वतंत्रता दिवस सिर्फ एक अनुष्ठान का नाम नहीं है बल्कि आजादी के बाद से हमने जो खोया और पाया है, हमारी राष्ट्रीय प्रगति, विकास और कल्याण का नाम है। यह हमारी जवाबदेही का नाम है स्वतंत्रता और साम्प्रदायिक सद्भाव के गति, संभावित फल और देश की अखंडता को बचाए रखने के संबंध में प्रयास। स्वतंत्रता दिवस वास्तव में आत्म-जवाबदेही का दिन है। देश की आजादी हासिल करके वे भारत बनाने के लिए खुद को समर्पित कर देंगे एक महान देश.

पचहत्तर वर्षों की लंबी अवधि के बाद, भारत दुनिया के सबसे सफल लोकतंत्रों में से एक है और अब यह आजादी के सफर से एक विकसित देश बनने के लक्ष्य की ओर बढ़ रहा है। रोजगार से मुक्ति और ऐसे कई महत्वपूर्ण मुद्दे अभी बाकी हैं हासिल किया जाना है। धर्म के नाम पर नफरत, सांप्रदायिक हिंसा आम बात है। आज पूरे देश में नफरत, भीड़ हिंसा, सांप्रदायिकता की घटनाएं देखने को मिल रही हैं। मुसलमानों की देशभक्ति को संदिग्ध नजरों से देखा जा रहा है। माहौल में मासूमों की जान जा रही है डर और धमकी का। मौजूदा हालात को देखते हुए यह कहना गलत नहीं होगा कि भारत आज भी आजादी का इंतजार कर रहा है...
